Notes:
After the breakup of The Wailers in 1973, Bob Marley reformed the group as
Bob Marley & The Wailers in the beginning of 1974. At some point, during
work on the Natty Dread album that was released that year, these demos/alts
were recorded in Jamaica. Included with this set are some rare tracks, like
Revolution, backed by the beautiful I-Threes, the sexually loaded Am A Do,
Jah Live, and Who Colt The Game. Sound quality is average, with some hiss
and mid-range warble. But the stereo separation and instrument clarity are
all there. Combine those with some heavenly vocals and a great flute mixed
into Bend Down Low, and you get a greater picture of this group. Jah Live,
children yeah!
