    Africa Unite (Demo)
    Length: 3:00
    Sound Quality: 5
Notes: Alternate vocals from the album version. Very little hiss, but not a great rip. Sound quality is still excellant, however. From a Neville Garrick
    sourced tape.

    Ambush in the Night (Demo)
    Length: 4:43
    Sound Quality: 5-
Notes: Sounds like an early cut of the song. Alternate instrumental and vocals than the album version. No backing vocals / I-Three's. Was "No Copy" until fairly recently.

    Babylon System (Demo 1)
    Length: 4:39
    Sound Quality: 5-
Notes: The instrumental is much more stripped down than the album version. Uses an alternate vocal
take from the album version, possibly an early version of the song. Features the I-Three's and a
drumbox intro. Very little hiss, from a Neville Garrick sourced tape.

    Bend Down Low (Acetate)
    Length: 2:35
    Sound Quality: 4-
Notes: Very early version of the track. Very different instrumental arrangement from the album version, and a much earlier vocal take. Cuts at 2:31, while Bob is singing. Has a defined hiss and is distorted at times, but it is still a very listenable track.

    Buffalo Soldier (King Sporty Dub)
    Length: 2:53
    Sound Quality: 5
Notes: King Sporty's dub mix. Very different than the album version. Lots of drums and effects, and features vocals from both the I-Three's and Bob. Traded on Santana's Secret Tape.

    Chant Down Babylon (Alternate Mix)
    Length: 3:58
    Sound Quality: 5-
Notes: Instrumental arrangement is totally different from the album version and the other alt. mix.
Also uses an alternate vocal take. Originally known as "Burn Down Babylon." Sound quality is good, but there is a little hiss.

Could You Be Loved (Drumbox Demo)
    Length: 6:23
    Sound Quality: 4-
Notes: Early version of the song. Features a rough version of the album instrumental and an alternate vocal take. Does not feature the I-Three's. Sound quality is good, but there is a substancial layer of hiss over the track. Traded on the "Original Acetates" compilation.

    Crisis (Acoustic Demo)
    Length: 0:53
    Sound Quality: 5-
Notes: Early acoustic version of the song. Brilliant alternate lyrics.

    Easy Skanking (Alternate Mix)
    Length: 3:24
    Sound Quality: 4
Notes: Sounds like a rough draft of the album version. Bob's vocal take is different and very subdued. No I-Three's. Sound quality is nice, but a little muffled and a little hissy.

    Forever Loving Jah (Demo)
    Length: 3:40
    Sound Quality: 5
Notes: Instrumental is stripped down from the album version, uses alternate vocals. Does feature
backup singers, and is in excellent sound quality with little hiss.

Give Thanks and Praises (Alternate Mix)
    Length: 0:33
    Sound Quality: 5-
Notes: Very alternate version of the song. Features different lyrics. Supposedly found on the end of a rehearsal tape, this fragment may be all that exists of this take of the song.

    Is This Love (Demo)
    Length: 3:56
    Sound Quality: 4
Notes: Slightly stripped down instrumental, earlier (rough) vocal take, no backing vocals. Moderate hiss.

    One Drop (Acetate)
    Length: 4:34
    Sound Quality: 4-
Notes: Uses an alternate instrumental mix and a very different vocal take from the album. This
sounds like the earlier demo. The vocals are a little low in the mix but clearly audible. There
are no backing vocals on this demo. Track has a moderate amount of hiss. Traded on the "Original Acetates" compilation.

    Rat Race (Dubplate)
    Length: 3:26
    Sound Quality: 5-
Notes: Alternate instrumental from the album version. Vocals are different as well, very relaxed and almost playful. Was "No Copy" until recently.

    Real Situation (Demo)
    Length: 5:41
    Quality: 5-
Notes: Sounds like an early version on the song. Features alternate instrumental arrangement and alternate vocals. No I-Three's. Traded on Santana's Secret Tape.

    Ride Natty Ride (Demo)
    Length: 3:43
    Sound Quality: 5-
Notes: Different instrumental arrangement than the album version. The vocals sound like an early take, and they are quite different from the album version. Sound quality is very good. From a Neville Garrick sourced tape.

    Top Rankin (Acetate)
    Length: 3:37
    Sound Quality: 4-
Notes: Uses an alternate, synth-heavy instrumental. Features a different vocal take from both the album version and the demo, and has no backing vocals. Has considerable hiss, but the sound quality is still nice. Traded on the "Original Acetates" compilation.

    Zimbabwe (Instrumental Acetate)
    Length: 3:16
    Sound Quality: 4-
Notes: Instrumental Version of "Zimbabwe;" has a few differences from the album version. Traded on "Original Acetates."
